AML Appaloosas

AML Appaloosas is located in Northwest New Mexico near the Continental Divide. We are a small breeding facility and may only have one foal per year. I like to work and ride my horses so my mares are often more likely to be out on the trail then in the breeding shed. On rare occasions we may have a foal or two for sale.

Who are my horses?


My horse are from both modern and foundation bloodlines, with a preference for dun coloration base coat and appaloosas characteristics.

My current horses also have Colorado Ranger horse bloodlines and are now registered with the CRHA as well.

My breeding plan is to maintain and breed for Colorado Ranger horse lines and maintain and improve the generational Appaloosa lines. I plan on maintaining Appaloosa to Appaloosa breeding without cross breeding and working my horses in the disciplines I like to participate in. We currently competed in ACTHA Competitve trail competitions and are training for Cowboy Mounted Shooting events.
